What Is The Cheapest Way To Get Implants For Someone On Jobseeker’s Allowance?

Q.
Hello Dr Moore, I am just asking this question as I am suffering from really bad erosion and decay of the teeth, half of my teeth have fallen out due to this and it’s really taking a toll on my self confidence as it is really embarrassing. I am just wondering if long term teeth implants would be an option? I currently claim benefits which is for Jobseekers, so I have very little to spend on them. Could you please tell me the cheapest option for long term implants please? Thank you, any advice you can offer me would be greatly received.

Hello and thank you for getting in touch. Implants might be a solution but they are generally very expensive and they not available through the NHS. One option is to contact your dentist and ask him to refer you to a local dental hospital. The other option is to find a clinic which can offer you a long-term payment plan, which you could hope to pay off in instalments. I hope you find a way to fix this problem. Good luck, Dr Andrew Moore.
