What is the best option for my worn front teeth?

Q.
I require a veneer to the top quarter of one of my front teeth. The enamel here has completely worn away. I am not presently looking for any further treatment. I have recently seen a dentist and other minor works required can wait until I can afford the cost. I cannot have the tooth whitening process as I have tried this and am allergic to it. Could you possibly offer an approximation of cost for a front tooth veneer? I am not sure if it is possible to cover just the affected top quarter of the tooth or if the whole tooth has to be covered? Thankyou
A.
Hi and thank you for your question.

There may be several options to help you but it sounds like the most conservative and cost effective approach is what you’re after. Some dental bonding, using a partial veneer with composite filing material may be the right choice for you. Depending on the difficulty of the procedure and the complexity of colour matching to your existing tooth, this procedure can cost from £100 to £600. Without a consultation in person this is impossible to be accurate about the best choice for you and it may be the case that this treatment will not achieve the best result for you. you might have to look at a porcelain veneer which would usually cost more.

It would be best for you to seek some professional advice with a face to afce consultation so that you can explore all the options available to you.

Best wishes
