What could be causing my facial pain?

Q.
I’ve been to 20 Doctors for the pain in my face. I have many symtoms of tmj
but I’m told I don’t have it. I’ve been in severe facial pain for many years and it’s progressivly getting worse. Can you give me any information on what could be causing my facial pain? I have no jaw popping. It feels like a ton of pressure{aching} pushing down on my teeth and also making my whole jaw ache. I have had some realinement done on my teeth also. Please help I am 67 years old and tired of the pain. Thank You

There is a condition called atypical facial pain for which carbamazapine is prescribed, ask for a referral to the oral medicine clinic by your dentist

I believe I have TMJ. My jaw pops in and out of socket when opening and closing and is very loud and painful. Smiling and talking, which I do both often, can be excruciating pain sometimes. There is no dentist that accepts my insurance for this problem. What do I do?

I need a large filling, and a scale & polish. Do you take on NHS patients, and how much can I expect to pay for an enamel filling.
