What can I do to correct my weird rounded jaw and overbite?

Hi. I’m 18 years old. My jawline has always been a little weird, it’s a lot wider than any other girls I’ve seen. The corners of my bottom jaw are rounded, if i feel the corners of my jaw, its like the bone is deformed. I have an overbite, and I’m embarassed of the way my face is. I also have really bad dark circles. I’ve sucked my fingers all my life, even when I was in my mom’s stomach. Is this why my jaw is the way it is? and can braces help?

Braces can help immensly with crooked teeth, bad bites and also facial profile. You will need a set of xrays of your jawbones which show the orthodontist your facial skeleton from ther side and the front. They will examine you thoroughly and assess if orthodontic treatmetn/braces can help you.

You can. Unfortunately I do not know any dentists in that area.
I would love to have the following information: A rough prices guide to allyour treatments (ie, implants, crowns, restorative fillings etc) I am aware that these will/would be just a rough guide and prices may differ from the ones stated. I would also like to know if you have anything such as a correction to a persons “bite” as since I have had my upper right 3rd molar”wisdom” tooth and my dentist had to grind down some teeth to for bite tofit better together, it still has problems that need correcting. Also canyou combine NHS and private, so that I can have the NHS free and pay only for the private part? hope you can help me with the requested information
