What Are The Treatment Options For Inverted Canines?

Q.
Hi Andrew. I currently have a gap on the side of my teeth. the canine on my left side is inverted, so when I smile facing forward, it looks like im missing a whole tooth if you understand what I mean? Thus there is a gap. you cannot see the inverted canine until you look at me smile from the side. is there a solution to this? my canine is inverted inward, so it looks like i have a missing tooth, and it has prevented me from smiling for the past 10 years. I smile with my mouth close, and often it comes across as if i’m not being genuine which has hindered me being able to make friends properly, especially in the area I live. How much would it cost for me to have this fixed? and what are the procedures I can pay for?
A.
Hi, thanks for your question and sorry about the last ten years. It might be possible to use a fixed brace to bring the tooth into line, costs vary but expect to pay from £1500 per jaw. I hope this helps, regards, Andrew.
