What Advice Can You Give to An Aspiring Dentist?
Q.
I am currently in Year 12 at sixth form at Smestow Sports College. I have always had a passionate interest in dentistry and in particular, cosmetic dentistry and prosthodontics. Currently at A level I am studying biology, chemistry, maths and also French. I have started to look into universities for next year. Where did you study dentistry and is there any advice you can give me with regards to this career path, and also specialising? Thank you.

Hello, thank you for your question. I studied at the Royal London Hospital. My advice would be to do a few weeks work experience to see if it’s something you’ll really keen on, then apply to the university that will suit you best. Good luck with your future career. Kind regards, Andrew.
