The gum above my crown become red while others are normal Plz Advice

Q. Dear Dr Justin, Hi. I am female of 26 years old. 3 months ago I had a crown on 1 of my front teeth replacing a composite veneer which become greyish. Now the gum above my crown become red while the normal others is pinkish. Can anything be done to make it pinkish again? I live in Indonesia. I want to have opinion from an expert before going to any dentist here. Thanks for your answer.

A.

It sounds like the crwon is irritating the gum. A crown shoul not do this so perhaps the dentist can adjust or remake the crown for you.

Kind regards
