The bridge across my front teeth are protruding, what can i have done to prevent me having dentures?

Q. I have got a bridge across my front teeth which seems to be protruding forward slightly i,ve had my bridge for about 20yrs what can i have done to prevent me having dentures.

A.

If your bridge has moved you may have extra pressure on the bridge and this means that it will eventually fail. You need to see a dentist that has a knowledge of occlusion, this is how the teeth function together and the way way they fit together. This is crucial because repacing the bridge needs to be well planned out. If you don’t want to have dentures and your bridge doesn’t last, you could always have implants
I hope this helps
Kind Regards
