Teeth problems have severely affected my confidence

Q. I’m 17(nearly 18) but I’m still in full time education (colledge). My teeth severly affect my confidence, I never smile in photos, I have 2 chipped front teeth from rough play as a child and still have 4 worn down baby teeth where my adult teeth haven’t grown through and according to an x ray aren’t there. Is it possible to get vineers/crowns on the NHS?

A. It is go and see your NHS dentist and I am sure they will be able to do something.

A gap runs the family but the problem with me is that i dont only just have a gap int he middle i have 4 other gaps on the top of my mouth,I’ve been incecure all my life about it and i mumble or look else were when talking to avoid people stairing at my mouth,I’ve been waiting since I was 13 for braces and i’m nearly now 20 yet still havent had them done. It effects my day to day life as I’m parranoid,I havent got a job as i’v got low self confidence just because of my teeth.I feel like ripping my teeth out to get quick and easy dentures.I’ve had to turn modeling jobs down as I refuse to smile even in normal pictures with my friends I try hide away.I hate my teeth and refuse to go dentist as they are no help at all, I havent got a clue what to do. Is it even possible to get it done on the NHS ?
