One of my left teeth is looking wonky. The top is going further left and the bottom right, slightly overlapping the left smaller tooth next to it. Please could you advise my options?

When i was a child I had to have an operation to cut open the gum to bring my left big front tooth down as it didn’t do it naturally on its own! This involved braces and a hook. Eventually it came and I’ve been happy with my teeth for years as I have a metal plate at the back that I was told would keep them held together. I’ve now noticed that the left tooth is looking wonky. the top going further left and the bottom right, slightly overlapping the left smaller tooth next to it. Please could you advise my options? Thanks,

My teeth have always been terrible and I don’t think my dentist has handled it well. Is a consultation available to discuss my teeth openly?

Hello, I am 49 year old female. I have always has wonky front teath, that were not corrected as a child. I have managed life without smiling with my mouth open. One tooth petrudes and is now a bit loose. I am not convinced my usual dentist has managed things well, however I have not been good at attending appts. Bit of burying head in sand going on, I now do need to deal with the problem, and would like to have a consultation where I can discuss option openly with out feeling embarressed. Always feel rushed with usual dentist and very little time given to discuss. I do have Denplan insurance with current dentist but happy to pay for a consultation to discuss options, with an expert like your self.,

I want my capped tooth to look identical to my other tooth, what do you suggest?

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010
Q.
Unfortunately my front took was chipped and so i got it capped. However, that one tooth is wonky and sticks out quite noticably. I recently went to the dentist and she said the best thing to do is to get a root canal. However, when i asked if this would then make my capped tooth look idential to my other tooth, she didn’t look convince that it would. All i want is these two teeth to match! Its really getting me down. I am a student & so haven’t the funding. However, i only have a HC3 certificate so procedures will still be pricey.,

I have one wonky, front tooth. Can this be fixed with invisalign?

Thursday, June 10th, 2010
Q.
Good afternoon, i have one front tooth that is slightly wonky so is projecting slightly outwards. It isn’t a major issue but i would like to have it straightened to boost my confidence. Being 23 years old i would not like to wear the traditional braces, would the invisalign therefore be a better solution? Would this still cost at least £3,000 if it is just tackling one tooth? Many thanks for your time,

What would you recommend to fix my wonky, large teeth?

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010
Q.
Hi Dr Moore, I was wondering what you would recommend for my teeth. A lot of them are slightly wonky, but my main concern is my upper front teeth. The front two are very large compared to all my other teeth, and stick out due to sucking my thumb a lot when I was younger. Whenever I smile I feel like all you can see is these two rabbit like teeth. I don’t really want to have braces, as at 27 I feel that even invisalign would be a bit embarrassing. And regardless of how straight they end up, they will still look a lot bigger than my other teeth. In an ideal world I would love to rip them out and replace them with normal size, straight fake teeth! However I don’t know if this is possible, or remotely practical. What would you recommend? Thanks,

My 8 year old son has broken his tooth under the gum as a result of a collision playing football. He has visited the dentist who suggested that we just leave it but the tooth is becoming a bit wobbly. What is your advice on this one?
