Tuesday, March 13th, 2012

Hi,

I broke my front tooth in my childhood. Later I realized that there is a problem with my broken tooth.

Then I had gone through the Root Canal Treatment for my front 3 tooth and porcelin crowned in 2003.

In initial there was little bit gap between them.

But now the gap has been widen up and looking odd.

Could you please suggest me if there any possibility to close that gap between crowned tooth?

Thanks for your time doctor

What is the right option for my crooked, gapped teeth?

Thursday, October 6th, 2011
Q.

I would reall like your advice on what I should so about my teeth. I’m 21 years old and when I was about 10/11 I was told that eight of my baby teeth did not have adult teeth growing underneath. My front two teeth were adult teeth but have been crooked since I can remember and have had a gap. I wore fixed braces for two years which straightened them out but the subsequent retainer put strain on one of my molar teeth and subsequently had several fillings and eventually had to come out. I went back to have another retainer but my front teeth had moved apart again. I really lack confidence because of my teeth and don’t know which avenue to go down. I’m a student so money isn’t free flowing, I’m prepared to spend around £2000 on sorting it out but want to be sure I’m taking the right option. I’ve looked into comestic bonding and veneers but would really appreciate your advice on what you would recommend. Thanks

Is there any way to temporarily cover up my shaven tooth that has been prepped for a veneer?

Thursday, December 9th, 2010
Q.

Hi Andrew, i am having a veneer, and the first ‘moulding’ appointment is in two weeks, this is where I’ve been told that they will shave my tooth and take a mould to be sent off.
i then have my ‘fitting’ appointment two weeks after that, so my question is, will i have to put up with a shaven tooth for two weeks?
I broke my tooth years ago, and occasionally it snaps now (which is why I’m having the veneer) and each time it snaps, to me it looks horrible
i don’t particularly want to have to put up with this for two weeks.

Many thanks

Medication ruined my teeth. What veneers would be most effective?

Monday, November 22nd, 2010
Q.

during my early teenage years i was put on what is believed to be the strongest medication for acne, Roaccutane. this worked a miracle but it was not without its side effects. A substantial amount of hair fell out, my skin cracked open, my joints needed cortizone injections as the joint fluid dried out, my cornea’s dried out similarly and now i need contact lenses but most importantly of all my teeth went almost transparent from calcium leeching. now my hair is fully restored, skin perfect but my teeth have been left to ruin. they are of near perfect alignment (one out due to a broken jaw) but several+ have had almalgum fillings, two crowns and rear teeth removed (surgeon said these have most blood supply and therefore more cacium deficency).
I am looking to get porcelain veneers over the top to improve their cosmetics, idealy implants but i could never raise that kind of funds.
Which type of veneer is best suited? i don’t eat many hard foods like nuts etc, t-total, don’t smoke or eat that much sugary foods but my teeth seem to get worse. Also are there any practises you can recommend in merseyside/northwest area?
Thankyou so much for taking this time to read this

PS. could there be a possibility of getting treatment through my doctor as the medication is known to have caused the damage?

What can we do to get rid of the “snow capping” on my daughter’s teeth?

Thursday, June 24th, 2010
Q.
My 20 years old daughter has great teeth in good condition but is concerned about “snow capping” – where her top 2 front teeth have a bright white markings compared to her normal tooth colouring. This is only noticeable in the morning ( and wears off during the day), it doesn’t occur if she sleeps with her orthrodontic retainer in (made 6 years ago). We think it is because she sleep with her mouth open! What can she do about this? Her dentist is loathe to recommed veneers or crowns because her teeth are so healthy. Any suggestions please?,

Would veneers be a solution to my teeth problem?

Thursday, April 8th, 2010
Q.
Hi, i’m 30 years old and i’ve always had really straight teeth but since my lower wisdom teeth have come through they have pushed the 4 bottom front teeth and one tooth has caved and is squashed by the teeth either side. It’s bothering me a lot and i was wondering what you would suggest having done? Would veneers be a solution? Many thanks.,
