Hello Mr Solanki I would just like to have your advice about veneers on my front two teeth. I have spoken to my dentist about this as i have a small gap in between and the dentist recommends that i have in invisalign brace fitted. I however would prefer veneers. The gap is about 2mm at the bottom not too much at the top.

I would like veneers done properly and teeth whitening what is the cost

Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Q.
Hi, i’ve always had a complex about my teeth i had a small gap, i had veneers fitted in my two front teeth but they wer awful and 2 big i looked like a rabbit! i couldn’t complain because the dentist had done them on the nhs, i went abroad and 1 of them snapped in half when i was eating, i had to have an emergency filling in spain which was grey, the dentist put 2 crowns in the front and they really stand out my teeth are also really discoloured and yellow from smoking even though i paid £300 to have them whitened it didn’t make any differance, i hate my teeth now and am really self conscious of them i would like veneers done properly and teeth whitening, i am prepared to pay a bit more to get them right, what do you suggest, and how much would it cost

I have very small teeth and lots of gaps

Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Q.
Hi. I am in my early thirties and have always had very small teeth – all straight but small thus lots of gaps. This includes my lower teeth. I think veneers would help with my top teeth but do they also work on lower teeth?

Wearing teeth due to grinding can i use lumineers?

Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Q.
I have/ had straight and beautiful teeth all my life, but I am a grinder and have been consciously grinding my teeth for the last 25 or so years. I am very vain and my smile is the core of my confidence. Now my teeth are worn down, cracked and yellowing. I would like to cap all of them (to close gaps and lengthening them) and add a couple of bridges (to replace missing teeth) but I don’t like the artificial look that some veneers give. And also don’t like filing down my natural teeth. Luckily with Lumineers they are thin and transparent enough to avoid both. But are they strong enough for my griding? And is there anything I can do to stop griding because my jaw and that whole area has shifted and changes (not in a good way). Can my case be helped and how? Thank you!

I want to have my teeth replaced and have implants

Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Q.
Hello Dr Solanki I have porcelin veneers on 7 upper teath. I am ok with them but a week after one cracked so I went back to my dentist and he replaced it. A few weeks later another crack appeared on two front teeth. Ihad these 2 years ago and the crack is still there as I have been to afraid to go back. I paid 5,000. I wanted them to improve my smile and to close gaps but the dentist did not do this but made the teeth larger and I have food stuck in between the teeth. This has been very upsetting that I do not have the smile I once had and they are not the correct shape and size and make it difficult to eat. I would like these all replaced and maybe implants were my teeth were taken out when I had bracies when I was thirteen. I selected your profile based on your experince and the exciting work you are doing. I am hoping we can meet for a consultation and maybe you can advise me on what can be done and acheived. Also I have silver fillings I would like these to be white. As an IT consultant my main job is to promote and present to clients therefore I need to feel confident smiling. I await to hear from you Kind regards

Q.
Im a 15 year old with front tooth that is crooked as well as the front two have a small gap. i havent lost all of my teeth yet, which is kinda odd, and dont think i would be able to get braces because of the cost, because we dont have orthodontic insurance. what do you recommend? A veneer for that specific tooth? and if so, what would you say the cost is?

What is the best way for teeth whitening?

Monday, March 23rd, 2009
Q.
Hi there, I have always had yellowish teeth, but now i have little brown lines appearing on my 2 top front teeth and white patches, which i guess it what’s left of my white enamel. What is the most effective method of teeth whitening? I have tried home kits, but they don’t seem to do a lot. I don’t mind paying, but want to make sure what I’m paying for is legit!

There are hairline cracks in the veneers and crowns on my teeth and the dentist says that it is due to grinding

Monday, March 23rd, 2009
Q.
I had veneers and crowns applied to the top 6 of my teeth 5 months ago. My two front teeth are actually crowns. I went in for a cleaning today and the dentist advised me that I have 2 hairline cracks. One on my front (crown) and one on a side veneer. He believes that I’m grinding my teeth at night and that is what caused this. I don’t think I grind my teeth at night. Isn’t it awfully early for me to be already getting cracks in the veneers/crowns? He is replacing both for free but does not know how well they will match the remaining 4 when complete and wants me to start wearing a mouthgard at night.
