Hi Dr. Andrew Moore, i have had crooked teeth my whole life am 25 yrs of age , i am planning to meet my girlfriend and her parents in less than a month , i feel shy to smile and really love this girl , how can i be helped to straighten my teeth in the shortest period of time probably 2 weeks , i have every resource at my disposal if you can help me fix my teeth.thanks so much.

My dentist has suggested building my teeth up with fillings will this be strong enough

Hi, I wanted to know what options I have about my top front four teeth. I have over the years stripped the enamel off the back of them to the point they are seethrough the result is my teeth are weak and the tops of my teeth have started to chip whilst eating. My dentist has suggested building my teeth up with a filling on the back almost like plastering the back of my teeth. Will this be strong enough because I’m a bit worried. What other options do I have? Thank you in advance

Hi, I have one tooth 2nd from the front that sit inwards, This has always bothered me, and i’m looking for the best solution to rectify this, and a good dentist in the Cardiff area, that could help me out. I am a 21 year ol mother of two and my teeth have been beautifully straight and healthy up until the pregnancy of my second child, now they are always getting chipped and the enamel has worn very very badly. I am a smoker and my teeth have became discolored i am wondering if i would be able to get vaneers or something on the NHS to sort out the awful mess they have got into as i am embarressed to smile and getting married next year!

I am 35 years old and about ten years ago a dentist capped my two front teeth a very dirty off white colour on the NHS. I was not aware of the procedure and thought he was going to put veneers over them. Sorry to sound so dumb but was not very informed. A few years ago I had my teeth whitened and the two caps stayed much the same. Outside in the daylight my top row of teeth look grey and dirty and as a women of 35 you can imagine the impact on my confidence. I have been told by several cosmetic dentists that they do not want to remove the caps and replace them and if I get veneers on the teeth left and right to the two front ones I am still left with two discoloured teeth. Please help.

Will real veneers feel the same as the temporary ones?

Hi Dr Patel, I have decided to get 6 veneers and got my teeth prepared yesterday. I have now got temporary veneers on. I just wanted to find out whether the real ones will feel the same was as the temporary ones? Currently it feels like I have braces on which is very uncomfortable, I am constantly aware that they are there and they stick out so my mouth sticks out a little and I have to keep remembering to close my mouth. Should this be normal with temporary veneers and will this be the same one I get the real ones in? I am very worried and would be very grateful for an answer. Thanks.
