Hello,a few years ago a banged my two front teeth, i had a crown on one and the other seemed fine up until a year ago when it started going black, it is now black helf way down it on my front tooth,which is so distressing for me. i went to see an NHS dentist who said he would not be able to carry out the work, he said the canal in my tooth that is going a black colour is widening therefore the metal rod that would be put inside would not be able to as it may just come out(he advised this after x-ray) he said i may need a bridge. now i cannot afford to pay all of this in one go, but do not have the best credit i have never been bankrupt but do have a ccj that i am paying. please could you advise me if there is a scheme where i can pay bit by bit without finance or if i could get finance from somewhere as i am advised i will loose the tooth very soon. i am based in manchester

I BROKE A TOOTH WHEN I WAS A KID.IT IS THE FRONT BESIDE THE BIG FRONT TOOTH. I HAVE HAD ROOT CANEL AND “FAKE TOOTH” GLUED ON. THE FIRST LASTED 20 YEARS, THE SECOND, TWENTY FIVE (YES I’M THAT OLD. THE DOCTORS AT THE HOSPITAL WHERE I HAD SURGURY, TOOK IT OFF IN FEAR I WOULD SWALLOW IT? I SHALLOW BIGGER THINGS! I JUST WANT THE FAKE TOOTH BACK WITHOUT ALL THE USUAL YOU NEED WHITNING, CLEANING ETC. ALSO, I CAN’T AFFORE ALOT, AS I HAVE A LOT OF MEDICAL BILLS TO PAY AND I DON’T HAVE DENTAL INS. I am considering having my teeth whitened but am not sure which method will work best and the costs involved. An accident when I was 10 (I’m now 32)meant I nearly lost my top right front tooth. I had to wear a gumshield for 4-5 months to stop it falling out, but I ultimately had to have the root removed 14 years ago as it was very sensitive. Since then it has just gotten more and more yellow and I’m quite unhappy with it. 3 years ago I had some minor internal bleaching treatment done where they drilled a whole in the back of my tooth near the root and packed it with some peroxide, which helped a little.
