Hello my question to you is have you ever done implants for patients with Systemic LUPUS because every time I,ve ever had any dental extractions I’ll say ok I was dignoised in 2000 but years after I’ve developed infections So I tool it upon myself to ask for a antibiotic just in case I need it this is always a problem Im thinking about implants in the near fucture this is my concern.
Tooth 13 fractured and abscessed. One 1 1/2 weeks after pain began, ended up having to have tooth extracted. Been off antibotic 2 days. One week after extraction, maxilla bone is extremely sore and painful. Called oral surgeon’s office and his assitant not concerned. I lfelt abscess had ruptured into sinus as I had a dark drainage that cleared as I was on antiobotic. Assitant says root of tooth was no where near sinus and I could have sinus infection. I don’t think that’s the case. I’m concerned about the bone being so sore and painful; concerned about there being infection in the bone. There was no swelling on my gum from the abscess. The infection was up in the bone…and I believe my sinus. Should I press my dentist to take a look? Thanks.
I have 2 top back teeth that need extraction on the same side. The alternative option is expensive and might not work due to heavily filled teeth and infection. If I decided to have these extracted would it make my cheek look abit sunken? futurewise I would have an implant in place once its all healed. Thanks
Hi there, I have a question about tooth extraction. I had my molar taken out which has left behind a huge gap. When i smile, you can see that my molar is not there! I do have a wide smile. My question is, will the rest of my teeth move towards that side to fill the gap? therefore creating gaps between my teeth? I already have two gaps which are getting wider and i hate smiling because of them! Plz plz plz can you give me some advice on how to prevent this from happening, what are my options? Many thanx. hi thanks for the reply, i have visited the dentist many times all they have given me is a teeth guard for both bottom and top set of teeth, as all the front teeth are moving. when will my teeth fall or does it depend on whether i move them or not. i am stressing alot about this. please advice me what to do.
My daughter (12 nearly 13yrs). The upper, right side, canine 3, baby tooth has not come out. Firmly it sits fixed within the mouth. The second tooth which should have pushed down onto this baby tooth to remove it, has grown horizontally across, instead of down. It know pushes towards the front two teeth of the mouth and has caused the closest one to move and go squinty bending out and in to where the baby tooth sits. All the teeth are fully grown were perfect second teeth until this happened. Please advise ! I has asked for this baby tooth to be removed over a year ago (gut feeling about it) Had this have happened, would this problem of still occured? Thank you
I had a crown fitted on my front top tooth, and months after, it snapped off during an accident. The dentist fitted a post to the tooth, drilled a hole and cemented it in. He said after time it will come loose and fall out. I have been put off and scared ever since and now it as fallen out and I have been using cement bought from Boots to hold it in for weeks at a time.
What can be done about this tooth? I have many other bad teeth but this on is priority
