Q.
Hi. I am 54 yrs old and have neglected my teeth. not because i am lazy, but because i had a needle left in my gum as a child, and as a result, did not visit a dentist for years. then i had an infection – dentist took tooth out and cracked the next one!!! never been back. i dont smile, look awful when i smile. desperately looking for dentist who will make me smile again! dont have a fortune – could you recommend someone? would prefer dentures – wont have to visit a dentist ever again. Many thanks

Q.
Hello Rob, I have been saving for ages to get a smile makeover. My local Smilestudio denist has given me a price of just under £6000. This involves one upper bridge, two crowns, two lower bridges, root canal, filling, whitening, and maybe some veneers. Does this seem reasonable to you? Thanks

why is that all makeovers are looking very dense looking and not at all natural and translucent

I want to have my old crowns replaced which are the old type (bonded to metal). When I looked at the smile gallery I was very disappointed to see that the makeovers all look very dense looking and not at all natural and translucent like i imagined. Why is this?

Hello Dr Moore, I am very emmbarassed about my smile. I feel it really lets me down. I have a few gaps at the side of my mouth and a dark mark at the top of one of my front teeth. Could you please tell me what the procedure would be to correct my smile. I also haven’t been to a dentist for a long time. Had a few bad experiences. Could you tell me how much a consultation would cost? Thankyou for your time.

i have lost a few teeth and lot have crumbled i want to get a nice smile how can i go about it

Monday, May 18th, 2009
Q.
Since having my son 6 years ago i have lost a few teeth and a lot have crumbled or are crumbling and leaving very unsightly gaps. i want to get a nice smile back but am unsure in how to go about it and what procedure to take. i have seen many dentists and have just been told that it may be best removing them if they get worse. can you offer me any advise on what would be the best thing to do as it is getting to the point where i just keep trying to cover my mouth up so no-one can see my teeth. thankyou very much for you time.
