Hi. I used to wear fixed top and bottom braces when I was younger, for three years. My teeth were perfect but started to move about 7 years ago. On my top teeth, one front tooth has started to stick out a little and it’s very upsetting. How can this be corrected naturally, without veneers etc.? My bottom teeth are very crooked now, I had about 4 teeth extracted when the braces were fitted as I have a small mouth but large teeth, my jaw is cross biting and it’s effecting my speech slightly. Can you help me please?

Can I Have My Relapsed Teeth Corrected Naturally?
Wednesday, April 15th, 2015Hi Mark. I Used To Wear Braces But Now My Teeth Are Slipping Back. Would Using Invisalign To Correct This Be Wise?
Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014Hi Mark. I had braces for over 3 years between the ages of 12-15, I struggled to wear my retainer as I should of and as a result, my lateral incisor has started to slip back and regress behind my front teeth. I am now 23 and 3 years ago I decided to get he a direct composite applied to it in order to ‘build up’ the tooth to be in line with my existing teeth. My question is how long does this composite usually last and should I think about getting it replaced? I think the tooth is still regressing and my overbite is more prominent as well, would thinking of getting braces like Invisalign be wise?
I Used To Wear Braces But Now My Teeth Are Moving And Are No Longer Straight. Can I Get New Braces At A Reasonable Price?
Thursday, May 15th, 2014Hi there. I have just turned 27 years old. I used to wear braces when I was in school, the ones with the single mental line, which I could take out and put back in whenever I liked. Due to personal circumstances dental treatment stopped. As the years have gone by especially in the last few years I have noticed they are moving and are not straight. I have a job but I’m receiving working tax credit. I’ve always put dental treatment off due to costs. But now I really want braces as it’s effecting my self esteem. I was wondering what would be the best way to go about getting them at a reasonable price. Thank you.
My Teeth Have Relapsed After Having Braces. I Would Like To Know Which Of The Invisible Braces Would Suit Me Best?
Friday, April 4th, 2014Hi Dr Patel, I hope you are well. I’m in need of your advice. I’m currently 22 years old. I’m having a problem with my protruding teeth. I’ve already had braces when I was 15 but now feel my teeth have relapsed and are protruding again. I don’t even feel like smiling any more. I need some options. Which braces I should go for to make my teeth look straight. I’m currently looking for those braces which are invisible and doesn’t cost the earth. I would be really grateful to you if you could help me solve my query. Thank you.
I’ve Moved House And Lost My Retainer. Now My Teeth Have Moved. What Will I Have To Do To Get My Smile Back?
Thursday, March 13th, 2014Hello,
I want to have a retainer brace fitted as my bottom teeth have moved a lot. I did have a bottom retainer before but have lost it due to moving house. I was wondering how much the whole procedure is and how long would I have to pay? Also how long would I have to come for check-ups and how occasionally as I have to work around my job. It is starting to get me down now as I am in a lot of pain through where the teeth have moved. I just want my smile back!
I Used To Have Braces But I Snapped My Retainers And My Teeth Relapsed. Can I Get Treatment A Second Time?
Thursday, December 12th, 2013Hi Dr Shaffie. I had my braces around 3 years ago but I have lost my retainers a year after wearing it and then got new ones, straight after, a couple of months later I have broke both my new retainers again and should of bought new ones but then my teeth moved all the way forward and to their normal positions. This has caused me jaw pains an I can feel my jaw widen again, also it is had to keep mouth shut, also I have an overbite, my teeth really irritate my gums causing it to be very uncomfortable. Would I be able to braces for free again at the age of 16? Thanks.
What would happen if I forgot to remove the invisalign aligners when drinking coffee?
Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012I have had invisalign braces fitted this week to improve the bottom front teeth, my question is: what would happen if I forget to take them out and then have a coffee for example with them in? I sometimes forget when I am busy that I have them in and am so worried I will take a hot drink by mistake? Honestly, they were right when they said they were totally invisible haha i really keep forgetting that they’re there!! I read that it can cause them to stain, which will lose their translucency.. Just one more question, when treatment is complete would the teeth ever move back? Thank you. I really appreciate your feedback as I am really excited about the outcome.
Are my teeth moving back because I’m not wearing my retainer often enough?
Monday, September 3rd, 2012 Hello. I hope you are well.
I am 32 years old and I wore a brace for a year and now have a retainer on the top and bottom rows of my teeth. I have noticed that my bottom teeth are moving a little and going back to their original place – which was originally very crooked. This is really concerning me. I had white fillings to line them up so should I go back and get crowns on the bottom to stop the movement and make them look better or is it that I am not wearing the retainer often enough?
Id like to have really nice looking teeth. I had a crown on the front and whilst I was really happy, its colour appears to be less like the other teeth – which puts me back to square 1can you give me some advice please?
