What Payment Options Are In Place for Extensive Dental Work?

Friday, June 5th, 2015
Q.

Hi. I have horrible teeth. I’m 29. They’re crooked, loose and discoloured. I want all new teeth. I am unemployed at the minute, it’s giving me a lot of stress because I cant get a job because of my appearance. I want my two front teeth sorting out and my bottom ones. I have tried with the NHS but they are refusing to help me with this. I need my teeth sorting out it would be the best thing ever, I cant even smile at anyone because of this. I am willing to pay as much as I can up front and maybe pay the rest in bits.

What Are The Payment Options for a Smile Makeover?

Friday, February 20th, 2015
Q.

Hi. I would like to know payment options to get a smile makeover. I absolutely hate my teeth. They are crooked, stained and decaying. I’m only 22 years old and it is really affecting my social life and my relationships. I have no confidence in myself and feel very self conscious. It would be a dream come true for me to get my teeth fixed. As a mother of 3 I could not afford to pay a lump sum. Is there any other payment options I could consider? Please help me out! Thanks.

My Wife Is In Need Of Seven Dental Implants. Do You Know If This Is Possible Through The NHS?

Thursday, October 9th, 2014
Q.

Hello Mark. My wife is in need of seven dental implants. Do you know if she can get this procedure done for free on the nhs as she is finding it hard to eat and it is causing her to be depressed. It is affecting her confidence and mental well being. We are in need of advice as we do not know where to turn to for her dentist referred her to one dental hospital, but she did not fit their criteria. Could you please give us some advice please? Thank you.

I Have Epilepsy And As The Result Of Grinding, I Have Broken My Back Teeth. Will The NHS Provide Me With Dental Implants?

Tuesday, October 7th, 2014
Q.

I am 32 years old and have had epilepsy all my life and as a result of continual grinding, I have broke and lost a lot of back teeth. I struggle to chew my food and the last time I was with my dentist I asked for dentures he said I could not get them as the many fits I have increase the change of me choking on them. My only option would be dental implants, but I have looked about and seen the price of them. I was shocked and many people I have asked say that the nhs will not pay for them. I need to know if this is true? Will the nhs pay for them?

Friday, September 26th, 2014
Q.

Hello Dr Gambroudes,
I am in desperate need of dental work. I know that I need some implants as well as a bridge etc. Unfortunately the cost involved is so high and unaffordable to myself so time is just passing by while I do nothing? I am happy to pay a fee for any dentistry but cannot pay the £1500 per implant?
I would be happy to travel anywhere in the Country! Could you help please? Many thanks.

I Have To Wear An Acrylic Denture. Would A Dental Hospital Provide Me With Dental Implants For A Nominal Fee?

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014
Q.

Hi Mark. I have a acrylic denture for my 2 front upper front teeth. My teeth have had extensive work prior to extraction and I have had an apicoectomy, numerous crowns, posts etc but I’ve not any long-term success. I would really like to have either implants or a bridge, however I can not afford the quote of £4000 minimum. My whole bottom and top set of teeth are quite poor. I clean twice daily but seem to suffer from broken teeth and I had my wisdom teeth out under general anaesthetic 40 years ago and again would love to have the gaps filled with teeth.
I find it difficult to chew food as the gaps leave the gums quite exposed.  Could dental hospital students do this work for a nominal fee?

I Have A False Tooth With A Screw Which Has Fallen Out. Is There Any Type Of Dental Glue I Can Use To Keep It In Place?

Tuesday, August 26th, 2014
Q.

Hello Dr Hughes. I have a false tooth with a screw that just came out, but I pushed it back in myself. Is there any form of dental glue I can use to ensure it doesn’t come out again? I don’t want to go to a dentist. I need a solution so I can do it myself. I am retired and no longer have dental insurance. My tooth is in the front of my mouth and would be very embarrassing if it came out. I would not be able to smile or feel comfortable. Thank you for your time.

I Need To Change My Smile But My Credit History Is Poor. Could I Still Pay Monthly?

Thursday, July 31st, 2014
Q.

Hello Dr. Riten.
I have a big problem with my teeth. I saw in your website that you can do same day implants, which is really good.
My problem is that my credit history isn’t really good. Would it be possible to pay monthly without searching my credit history? Having a nice full set of teeth is my dream. I have a full time job, and my monthly salary is good and as full my teeth are important for me I can afford to pay each month. Thank you for your time and answering a question.

Is It Possible To Pay For Invisalign Treatment Over Instalments? My Smile Is Overcrowded And Crooked.

Tuesday, July 29th, 2014
Q.

Hi Mark. I have pretty bad crooked teeth and I feel invisalign is a good choice to sort them out. The cost is a bit dear for me. Is it possible to pay in instalments over a period of time? Where could I go to arrange an appointment to get invisalign and how much is it for an appointment? Would I have to pay just for a first time check up? My teeth are over crowded and crooked, it’s not so much the bottom teeth it’s the top, the front 6 teeth and the front 2 are leaning towards the left. Also the 2 small teeth on each side aren’t straight and one is fully turned at a 90 degree angle. The 2 beside them are towards the top of my gums like fangs. Please help me on this. I dislike my teeth and avoid smiling due to how they look and need expert opinions and guidance.
