Can I get a filling over my cornw to make it stick?

Monday, August 9th, 2010
Q.
Hi my crown of 20 years has for the past few years been coming off and won’t stick. My dentist did some work on it 10 years ago- as the previous dentist had left cotton wool in it and it used to hurt. so i don’t know if this caused the tooth to become weak. He said nothing can be done as there is no tooth there – but i was thinking of a filling over it – i think he did mention this and then could the crown not be stuk to that-as opposed to bare gum,

Spots along my gum are really starting to hurt and even peel. What’s the cause and is it common?

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010
Q.
Hi, so I have a question regarding my gums. The gum spots where I had my wisdom teeth removed a long while back are really hurting. I noticed they are raw where they started peeling a little, and its really a pain to chew food now. My co-worker said she has had a similar issue. What could be the cause of this? Is this a common thing, or do I need to be concerned?,

Do canine teeth take longer to move and how much pain is expected?

Monday, August 2nd, 2010
Q.
I am 33 years old and I have 8 months that I got braces . My doctor told me that in 1 and half year my teeth should be corrected. My concern is that all my teeth are moving, EXCEPT MY UPPER CANINE TEETH ( the upper canine teeth are littlle bit up but not extremely high ) however i haven’t seen yet at least a little bit of improvement on my teeth that are moving. . another extra concern is when i have the rubber bands of my brances changed i never feel the typical pressure and not pain at all comparing as the first time i got the braces, every time i got the braces’ rubber changed i never feel the pressure or pain. is that normal? TWO QUESTIONS: do canine teeth take longer to move down than the rest of teeth? should i feel pain and pressure on my teeth everytime i have the rubber band of my braces changed? how long is estimated in my age to have the teeth corrected with braces?? Please advice,

Hi im 56 and i suppose the last time i went to a dentist was 40 years ago. i attended Kings College Hospital, London at first as a guinea pig and got paid 5 shillings. Please, please help me, as being disabled i dont go out a lot now, but i want to, im losing all my friends because of this and getting very depressed im on Fluoxtine to help me. I do hope you can help me. Thank you for listeneing to me.
