Can you advise me where to get lumineers to correct my overlapping front teeth?

Tuesday, March 29th, 2011
Q.

Hello Andrew.
Hope you can help me?

Im thinking of having veneers as some of my teeth are misaligned, especially the two at the front, they overlay each other slighty I think this is due to my wisodm teeth, pushing them forward.
I dont want to have braces as i want something that is quick and pain free.
I have read about lumineers, these being the longer lasting and pain free option, do you know what could be better for me or would you be able to recommend somewhere for me to go for a consulation?

Can I have my two front teeth straightened so they don’t overlap – what is the best way?

Q.

Hi Dr.Patel, how are you? I hope your well. I am a 27yr old male living in NW London.

I have had my front two teeth overlapping each other for last 12 years since I was very young. I know I should have had braces fitted earlier on, as now Im sure it will be a longer process. Something I regret.. as I miss smiling! :-/

I am so conscious now – it is a problem, that now I wish to seek professional advice. is it too late? can I still get braces? or have them taken out and replace front two? Not sure how all this works.. I hope you can help… look forward to hearing from you. Have a great weekend 😉

Regards

I have overlapping teeth and a narrow smile, how can I change this?

Tuesday, March 8th, 2011
Q.

Hi. I wore a brace as a teenager for two years to correct my crowded over lapping teeth. It fixed it. Now as an adult (36) ive noticed over the years that my teeth have overlapped at the front again and i have a very narrow smile. You can see gaps between my inside cheek and teeth when i smile. My two front teeth over lap slightly and the ones beside it have turned so you can see the side of them. I dont expect hoolywood teeth or perfect gnashers but i really want my smile to be a little more broad. i want to see at least six teeth at the fron of my mouth when i smile rather than 4. P.s my teeth are in good condition. What could i have done which would not cost too much. Please say i dont have to wear another horrid block brace??? Thank you and look forward to your answer.

Are there any quick solutions for overcrowded teeth?

Wednesday, February 16th, 2011
Q.

In a few months time I’ll turn 18 and feel that my teeth are too overcrowded for conventional braces to align them in a short amount of time (which is why I deeply regret not getting them a few years ago). My smile is the main cause of my lack of confidence in social situations and I feel too embarassed to visit my dentist in regards to fixing it. My top set of teeth are a lot worse than my bottom set as one tooth is a lot further back than the others, causing an overlap. I’ve researched into veneers available on the NHS and feel this could be a suitable option as I want the treatment to be over as soon as possible. I’ve also become more aware of slightly wobbly teeth but am not sure whether this is just a subconscious thought. As it is only the front 6 on the top set and front 4 on the bottom set of my teeth that aren’t aligned, I’ve also looked into the 6 month smile braces but it all seems to good to be true. What do you think is the best option for me?
