Which Treatment Would Be Best To Re-size My Teeth?

Thursday, May 30th, 2013
Q.

hello sir i wonder if you could help out, basically i want to resize my teeth for a better look and healthy smile..can u suggest something best that i can recover from it as soon as possible…..
first 4 teeth are forwarded to outside where they should be and i dont feel right about how they look. what i want overall is something to make everything look in proportion and normal, so probably need to resize and re position my lower jaw somehow. then look at how to align the teeth so that they look correct afterwards.

I Am Fearful Of Smiling In Public, What Can I Do?

Tuesday, May 28th, 2013
Q.

Hello, I have an issue with my smile. Being that it is rather small and my teeth hardly show and it is just not nice at all. It has become such a problem that i rarely smile in public at all now, and i although i am a friendly and bubbly guy, i feel i am becoming more awkward to be around sometimes due to this problem. i would love to have a better smile to give me the confidence to have a laugh and a joke with friends without the fear of people looking at my awful smile. anything that could be done would be great to hear about.

My Teeth Are In Good Condition But My Smile Is Tiny, Can I Alter This?

Thursday, March 7th, 2013
Q.

Hi,

I’ve been wondering recently if anything can be done about my teeth as it really bothers me and it makes smiling really uncomfortable for me.

Let me see if I can explain: I have fairly straight, good teeth but what is bothering me is that the actual setting of my teeth is tiny. (The “U” that they sit in is extremely narrow and small.) This means it’s impossible for me to open my mouth wide, my dentist once commented on it but didn’t offer a solution. It also means that when I smile it looks stupid- I don’t have a lovely wide, toothy smile.

I just wish there was a solution. Is there??

Thank you so much

Is composite bonding a good alternative to brace treatment?

Tuesday, June 26th, 2012
Q.

Hello, I have just come back from a consultation about having a brace and the orthodontist advised me that he didn’t think this would be the best option as I had 2 teeth removed as a teenager and the only way to create more space would be to remove more. Instead he has recommended that my teeth are re-shaped and that he will use composite (something like that but not porcelain) to make them appear aligned. I had always thought that a brace would be the best option, but does this sound like a good solution? Thanks

Can I receive braces for free?

Tuesday, June 26th, 2012
Q.

Hello Doctor, I am currently a 23 year old full time worker. I work for the nhs and i have always had very crooked teeth. This really gets me down and i feel very self-conscious. I had 12 teeth removed when i was younger due to overcrowding and i have now been left with a very unattractive smile. I would love to have braces fitted but cannot afford them privately, i know a few people who have had braces fitted for free and i would like to know if I’m in any way eligible for this work to be done because i work for the nhs? and how do i go about receiving the treatment? if not, do you know how i could spread the costs of the treatment? Thank you for your time.

My front teeth have started to move, should I have orthodontic treatment or replace my veneers?

Friday, June 8th, 2012
Q.

I currently have two veneers on my front tooth and the tooth next but one, these were put on approx 13 yrs ago. They have lasted really well and I initially had them put on as after brace treatment these two teeth started to move. I am 43 yrs old. For the past 2 yrs, these two teeth have started to move again and are now pushing behind my other main front tooth, they look very wonky and uncomfortable. What would be the best treatment for me? An invisible brace or to have these two veneers removed and replaced and hope that stops the teeth moving. The current veneers did previously stop my teeth moving until approx 2 yrs ago.

Many thanks,
