I have a gummy smile can i get them corrected?

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009
Q.
Hi, I have a 3mm overbite with a 2mm overjet. I have a gummy smile I want to correct. My teeth are straight for the most part but I wanted to know if lingual braces can correct the overbite and in hopes to correct my gummy smile if any. I was also wondering if my teeth are pretty straight and I have to do orthognathic surgery to correct this issue if I can have braces for 6 months and then have the surgery. I would prefer lingual though to give me less of a “horsey” smile.Thanks.

My front teeth ( Smile ) are quite bad and one has eroded quite a lot and I dont know what I can do as I cannot afford to pay thousands of pounds to get this sorted

Friday, April 3rd, 2009
Q.
I have bad teeth, especially in the top half of my mouth and I recently saw a Private dentist to see if they could help. They were extrememly rude and partonising and I ended up not going back. My front teeth ( Smile ) are quite bad and one has eroded quite a lot and I dont know what I can do as I cannot afford to pay thousands of pounds to get this sorted. Is there any alternative other than dentures? I am 22 years old and paying for not looking after them as a child. The decay in the top half of my mouth has gotten so bad that my partner doesnt even want to kiss me anymore. My bottom teeth are generally ok, but the top are in a really bad state and some probably are un-saveable. Any help would be great. Thank you for your time.

I want a six month smile in Kent Essex

Friday, April 3rd, 2009
Q.
Hello. I hope you can help. I have quite crooked teeth and a potruding tooth at the top right. This affects my confidence greatly and I really would like a solution. Braces are extremely costly however I have been looking at the six month brace which is a great deal cheaper however, these all seem to be London based practices that offer this brace. Will I find it any closer to home? I live in Kent. I just want a nice smile!! Hope you can help. Many Thanks

Can I have my teeth straightened and get a natural smile with veneers

Friday, April 3rd, 2009
Q.
Hi Andrew I am looking to get my teeth done and i want a very natural smile makeover. I currently live in spain and although the dental practices out here speak perfect english i wanted to know if you could give me any advise and help with the questions below. What are best Lumineers or Veneers. I havnt got bad teeth , they just cross over ( the two middle teeth ) I just want a smile that is perfect and white , although not looking like i have had them done , if you know what i mean. I do TV work , so its massively important that i’m happy after and that i dont look like a cheap job has been done , like you see with some smile makeovers. I know its hard for you as you havnt seen my Teeth , but what should i ask and can you tell me if the below dentist looks to be good from their website – www.prodentalcare.eu They mention that they use porcelain , can you tell me what grade of lab i should ask to use and the grade of the technician? What questions should i ask to see if they are a specialist cosmetic artistic dentist? Can you tell me what bonding i should ask them to use? From my research i have been told that Procera or Fortress veneers are the best for a more natural looking makeover. As i feel that i will only need 6 upper veneers , i will have to bleach my bottom teeth. The reason for this is that you only see six of my teeth when i smile. my two front upper teeth are longer than the rest and cross over. But i have also been told that i should bleach all my teeth first then wait 4 weeks for the colour to stabilise? I want a white , beautiful , perfect smile.. Looking natural at the same time. I hope you can set my mind at rest. I am now only 28 – how long will the veneers last before i have to get them redone. I have also read that they can pop off? it’s literaly all i think about. Hope to hear from you soon

Will the 6 month smile misalign my bite?

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009
Q.
Hello there, I’m going to be having the 6 month smile done next month, and I do have one question though, I guess I’m just having my top teeth done because I have a misaligned top tooth that really iritates me when I smile, but when I have this done will the whole procedure misalign my bite, my dentist only suggested doing my top teeth only but I’m wondering if I have just the top done will my bottom teeth not line up with the new top……….I’m a little confused and I need some reassurance from you please.

Is there a procedure I can take to have my teeth show even a little?

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009
Q.
Hi, everyone says that I have a sweet smile, but I noticed that when I smile, my teeth don’t show and even if I try, they still don’t show. When I talk they show a little but not like it does with normal people. I have tried reading around this and come across things like how the lip can be too long or teeth too short. I just don’t want it to seem like I don’t have any teeth. Is there a procedure I can take to have my teeth show even a little?
