I’m Considering Veneers – Will They Look Natural?

Wednesday, August 7th, 2013
Q.

Is it possible to have veneered two front teeth only? Also, I imagine it would be a challenge to match them to blend in with the rest my teeth? The front right tooth is half-filled and at the top where tooth meets the gum the enamel is quite damaged, it’s almost scraped and it’s become like a brown dent, gradually extending. Obviously I would think twice if they didn’t quite match up. There’s nothing wrong with my front left tooth though. Any advice would help me greatly? Thank you.

Before I go ahead with the Maryland Bridge treatment, can I have tooth coloured wings to blend with my natural teeth?

Monday, August 6th, 2012
Q.

Hi, I wondered if you could help me?
I am looking into having a Maryland bridge fitted to replace my current bridge but the only thing that is putting me off is the metal wing type things . I am aware that you cannot see them viewing it from the front however I was more concerned with them being on show once I laugh or open my mouth. Is is possible to have the metal colour made in tooth colour so that the wings blended in with my natural teeth? I would feel very self-conscious if you could see the bridge. My current bridge is towards the back of my mouth.
Thank you for your time.

Will zirconia dental implants look the most natural?

Thursday, August 25th, 2011
Q.

I am having implants as I have lost teeth in both my upper and lower level and now my crowns & bridges on my upper level are all failing. I would like to have a natural look, if possible, not poker straight or Hollywood white but just natural. I was told that Zirconia would be better for that look than Porcelain – is that true. Is it possible to get a natural look with implants atall or will they always look somewhat false? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What is the best treatment based on me having a large diastema and bone loss?

Monday, March 28th, 2011
Q.

Hi, I suffer from an extra large diastema between the top two centrals (8mm). I’m 43 hence there’s no bone under the 8mm gap. Tried many treatments but it ends up more deformed and un-natural.
What’s the best way to have a nice looking smile?

Can I have my veneers rounded off for a more natural finish?

Thursday, March 3rd, 2011
Q.

I had 4 x veneers, 1x implant and 1x crown recently at great expense. I am very unhappy with the quality/finish, but cannot afford to have them all re-done. One thing I think might improve them is to ’round off’ the bottoms which are all currently square. Is this feasible, and very cheap? Thanks and kind regards

Is it possible to have dentures that look perfectly real?

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010
Q.

Hi

I was hoping to have full dental implants. Lower implant retained denture and implants on the upper. I have now been told that I have individual implants on the top and also have to have an implant retained denture because I have an overbite and need the lip support.
Is it really possible to have dentures that look like real teeth. If people have to have a crown fitted you can’t tell the difference between that and their own teeth but when you have to have a full denture they don’t seem to look like real teeth. Is it possible to have a denture that is made of porcelain or other material that looks like natural teeth.
As you can probably tell I am getting very distressed about this and I am looking for a new dentist that I can discuss this with and hopefully can do my implants.
I look forward to your response.

I recently had braces fitted and now my teeth seem to be overlapping. Why is it doing this?

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010
Q.
I just had braces put on a few days ago, and previously, my front teeth were fine, but now, they have begun to over lap. Help! Is this natural and why is it doing this? It looks and feels lopsided.,
