My top row of teeth are slightly inwards how could i get it fixed

Saturday, October 3rd, 2009
Q.
I wondered what the best way I could fix these cosmetic problems. Preferably without braces. My top row of teeth go slightly inwards and my two front teeth are face a little towards each other. I also have a very small gap on each side between my first and second premolars. i should also say i still have 4 baby teeth around the back on each side, and there are no big teeth to grow in. is there a plate i could wear that would fix all this? No one has ever noticed and no dentist has ever recommended anything, so i wanted to get another opinion.

Im disappointed with result of invisable braces can you advice?

Saturday, October 3rd, 2009
Q.
Hi Dr Glaister, Iv have come to the end of my treatment with invisalign and not that happy with the results. My dentist advised me to have a mental brace on the top to bring my two side teeth down. The bottom ones are lovely and straight. The top have straightened too but im disapointed as iv paid alot of money for ‘invisable’ braces and now need to ‘ugly betty’ style for 2-3months. very shallow i know but hey… this is the world we live in. id be so greatful to hear back from you.

Thursday, October 1st, 2009
Q.
Hello Doc! My left front tooth overlaps the right one, so it makes my canine stick out ( which are already So, when i smile i dont think i look nice. But its not so much of a big problem for which i’d need metal orthodontics for..I used to wear retainers to push my teeth back. but after 10 years my teeth have moved and now look misaligned. What do you think is the right treatment for me?

Is the Invisalign treatment successful and is it worth it in the long run

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009
Q.
I went to my dentist to enquire about getting vaneers as I hate my smile, my teeth are really small and wearing down and crooked and some are smaller than the others. My dentist recommended I get invisalign treatment instead and the end result will just be as gooas as vaneers, plus I get to keep my proper teeth without the risk of ruining the nerves, is this treatment sucessful and worth it in the long run? i want a perfect hollywood smile, which is why I wanted vaneers, is this the treatment for me? My appointment is 1pm tomorrow where I have to go and start paying for treatment

I need to get an advice on invisalign braces and its pricing

Saturday, September 26th, 2009
Q.
Your page on Invisalign says that most orthodontists give a free consultation. In Cardiff none are prepared to do this, the cheapest consultation being £85 and including x rays and mouth casts, which I don’t want at this stage. I want an indication of options, prices and length of time. If I were buying anything else I would get a few quotes, yet for treatment costing thousands I am expected to commit nearly £100 with no information.

Does NHS provide invisible braces and quicker teeth straightening methods?

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009
Q.
Hi, I’m 16 and i realy want my teeth to be straight, i would just like to know, if i can get anything like invisable braces or the ones that only take a month, or the inman aligner, not the normal train track braces. But i can’t pay for it, it would have to be under NHS, is there anything like that that i could have that wont cost me? Please let me know if there is anything, thankyou.

How to ensure teeth stay in position after aligining them?

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009
Q.
I had dental work done when I was a child as my teeth were over-crowded and crooked. My teeth have now moved slighly, I’m 28 now and I am considering doing a course of the invisalign system as my orthodontist recommended that I can get the results I want from a 20week programme. I’m worried about my teeth moving again after the treatment is complete – is there anything I can do to prevent them moving again in the future?

Can i fix braces for free on NHS?

Sunday, September 20th, 2009
Q.
I had fixed braces when i was about 11 for seven months, but then eventually discontinued to use the retainer i was given as i got older. I am now 18, and my teeth have moved around so much from when the brace was first taken off, meaning that the retainer obviously no longer fits my mouth. Would you recommend getting fixed braces put back on? If so, would i still be able to get them free on the Nhs, baring in mind that i am still in full time education? Any other recommendations would also be much appreciated.
