How Can I Stop My Front Teeth From Sticking Out?

Tuesday, April 21st, 2015
Q.

Hi, very quick question.  I’m 30 years old and my top front teeth stick out. How would I go about making these look ‘normal’ and how much would it cost?

I believe you can have invisible braces, although I’m not sure how long you would need them in for and if they actually are invisible. I’m quite happy having artificial front teeth if that is possible? It just gets to the point where everyday I feel down about it.

Thanks.

What Procedure is Best for Shortening Teeth?

Friday, February 13th, 2015
Q.

Hi. The size of my front two teeth are a bit big and I want to shorten them to have a better smile. Can you give me suggestions about what cosmetic surgery I should go for? I feel the front teeth are a bit outwards too. I don’t know the terms to explain but in simple terms I’ve got big front teeth and I have small lips so when I smile I don’t look quite good. I am 30 years old. How much will it cost, and how long will it last? Thanks.

I Get Embarrassed Whenever I Smile With My Large Front Teeth. I Wonder What Can Be Done?

Tuesday, May 6th, 2014
Q.

Hello Mark. I am 21 years old and my 2 front teeth are bigger than normal ones. I get embarrassed whenever I smile with them and I’ve also got a tooth growing out the top of my gum. I’ve got a couple of bottom teeth that are wobbly too, even though I clean them twice a day and I’m a non-smoker. Also, I’ve got a tooth missing next to the front tooth but the tooth from the gum covers it up. They don’t get any cleaner no matter how much I clean them. I am just wondering what there is to be done as I’m only 21 and it’s not looking good for me in the future? Thank you in advance for any help you can offer me.

Is Bonding Useful For Closing A 4mm Gap Between My Two Front Teeth?

Thursday, August 8th, 2013
Q.

Hi,

I have a 4mm gap between my two front teeth and I am looking at getting it fixed. All of the rest of my teeth are fine and I have no other gaps at all. My teeth are also perfectly straight. Would bonding be possible here or is the gap too large? I don’t want veneers because I don’t want to lose any of my natural tooth structure. I really want the gap closing and bonding seems to be the best way from what I have read but as I said I’m unsure of the procedure and if it would be suitable for me. I would just love a general idea or if there’s anything else you can suggest? That would also be great. I would just like an idea so I can gather the funds to have this fixed once and for all. Many thanks.

How Much Would The Inman Aligner Cost To Fix Two Front Teeth?

Thursday, August 1st, 2013
Q.

Hi Dr Moore. I was just wondering how much the Inman Aligner would cost to correct my two front teeth? My two front teeth are starting to move inward and creating a large gap between my teeth. I wanted to know if the invisalign or inman aligner would be more appropriate? The gap just started approximately 3 years ago and wasn’t sure what the cause was. I am obviously looking for the most cost effective option, but not worried about the length of time. I hope you can advise me something as I’m beginning to get really down with this issue now, as I said I don’t even know what caused it in the first place and I am not sure where to even begin. I’m in the London area anyway, if you could recommend someone that can help? Many thanks.

Are There Any Cheap Treatments Available That Can Fix Overlapping Front Teeth?

Thursday, May 2nd, 2013
Q.

Hi,

I would like some advice please,my two front teeth are crossed and overlapping slightly. one of them is pushing down on the other and pushing it back. They have been like this for as long as I can remember now and they make me feel very self conscious. I have just applied to study drama at university and intend to become an actor when I have left so I would like them fixed as soon as possible. Please bear in mind that my other teeth are fine, well as far as I know. What would be the best treatment to correct this? My main focus is the two front teeth, not the whole set, can you get braces or whatever to treat just two teeth?. I don’t have a great deal of money to spend as I am a student (I am due to finish sixth form this summer). Any advice or recommendations would be great. Thank you,  kind Regards.

I’m Unhappy With My New Implants,Should My Dentist Alter Them Because I Am Not Happy With Them?

Monday, January 7th, 2013
Q.

Hi, I have had an implant in my UL 1 and a connecting bridge to my UR1. I had the fitting on December 20th 2012 for the first time and am not happy with the overall appearance of them. the front surface area is too rounded for my liking and I would like them flattened of.. also the ‘v’ between the 2 teeth is very high giving the appearance of the 2 front teeth looking very block like! I have asked my cosmetic dentist for these changes to be made as I am not happy and have payed 9,000 pound for the smile I wanted. he has refused me on the basis that he thinks they look fine. I am in belief that if I am not happy and the work can be done then it should be?

Can veneers correct broken, front teeth?

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012
Q.

Hi, Doctor Moore. Here is my problem, so I have fallen recently which resulted in me smashing my two top front teeth and also a bottom one. I have half of my top two left and about a quarter of my bottom tooth left. I am very worried that these teeth will have to be removed, as they’re obviously permanent teeth this thought really scares me! Can these teeth be saved or is it just easier for these to be replaced with new, prosthetic teeth? I was wondering what my options are??? Any help would really be appreciated. I would like to have veneers, this has been a long time wish of mine, would they be a suitable form of treatment? So I see this as an ideal time to have some good dental work done. Thanks for your time.
