I don’t know whether to choose the fixed braces or invisalign, any advice?

Friday, September 3rd, 2010
Q.
hi, well basically i am 25 and unhappy with my teeth. I have an overjet on the top 2 teeth and crowding on the bottom front teeth. I was interested in invalign and have been to see two orthodontists. The first one assured me that my teeth would be perfect at the end of the treatment but the second one put me off slightly as he said that my teeth would be much better than they are now but to get the best result i would have to get a traditional fixed brace…leaving me confused as i dont want the fixed brace but i dont want to pay for invisalign and not get the desired results. *the second ortho said that there are two teeth on,

My wife had fixed braces once, but doesn’t want them again. Would a removable brace work instead?

Monday, August 9th, 2010
Q.
Hello, me and my wife are considering treatment. My wife had braces as a child but one of her front teeth(1 of middle 2) has come forward just slightly out of align. She had fixed braces and doesn’t want to go through it again. Would a simple removable brace be able to correct this. What would be the best treatment? Many thanks,

Will bonding have bad effects on my tooth enamel?

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010
Q.
I am considering 6 month smile treatment after rejecting Clearstep for both cost and length of treatment. Is there any possibility that this new treatment can have an adverse effect on the tooth enamel as it is ‘bonded’ onto the teeth? I’m 55 if that makes any difference.,

Can my tooth be pushed back without the need for braces?

Thursday, May 27th, 2010
Q.
I have one tooth that is very very very slightly pushed back. I am positive it is from being elbowed in the mouth about a month ago during basketball practice. Is there any way it can be pushed back into place without braces? As in could it be fixed just like having wisdoms taken out, which is maybe being put out and them fixing it? I would appreciate any advice. I am 17 years old by the way. I know I shouldnt worry about it much but I see all my friends with perfect teeth. I also have a small gap between my two front teeth but I will leave that up to my dentist to decide on. My pushed back tooth also aches sometimes. Thank you so much.,

Would getting braces at 21 be too old?

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I have quite a severe overbite and crowded bottom teeth. I was never encouraged to have a brace as a child, but I always wish I had. Im 21 now and just wondered what options, if any, I have. I asked my dentist and she advised me that it would take a traditional metal brace to straighten my teeth out and dismissed the idea. Any advise would be helpful! Thanks,

I’d like a treatment that would permanently close the gap in my teeth, what would you suggest?

Monday, May 24th, 2010
Q.
Hie.I was wondering if you could give me some advice.I have got a big gap tooth.I got told that veneers can help to close the gap tooth. However besides veneers are there any other options that can help to permanetly close my gap tooth. The reason why I am a bit hesitant about veneers is the fact that they can fell off and also you need to get them checked regularly isnt it which is Iwht dont want and it cost a lot of money as well to get them fitted.I want a treatment where my gap tooth is permanently closed even if it means that the treatment will take long its ok.What about braces. Please can you give some information about braces if they can help to close my gap tooth. Thank you Regards.
