I would consider even extreme treatment for straightening my front teeth.

Thursday, November 26th, 2009
Q.
Hey i was interested in knowing if there is a way of straightening my front teeth without braces. The main problem is my 2 front teeth are protruding out more than the rest of the teeth which is causing me to not smile or have a conversation with people as much, and braces would just intensify this problem for longer. im open to all suggestings, even the extreme to help solve this issue. Thank you.

Can I straighten all my teeth living few of them alone?

Thursday, November 26th, 2009
Q.
Hi. My teeth arent as straight as I’d like them to be. My top teeth are alright but I have two teeth on either side, set a tad higher than the rest, but I’d like them to stay like that. However I was thinking about getting braces to sort out the rest. Would it be possible to straighten out all my teeth apart from those two?

Would like to know the cause of my discoloured teeth?

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009
Q.
I am 50 years old and I had braces fitted to my upper teeth just over two & half months ago. Since having the brace fitted I have noticed that one of my front teeth is going grey at the top near the gum. What is the cause of this? Can I do anything to stop it or can it be treated once the braces come off?

Suggest me on getting perfectly straight teeth

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009
Q.
Hi Doctor, A few years ago I had a ostiotomy on my lower jaw bring the jaw fowards so my lower front teeth were up against my upper front teeth which gave a much better side on profile and better smile. However, this has resulted in my lower front teeth being rather prominent and so I am contemplating adding veneer to the upper front teeth to compensate because I don’t think they are long enough. How do you decide how long front teeth should be in comparison with lower ones ? I know each case is different but my upper front teeth are not perfectly straight so I don’t want to make a big mistake. Advice would be welcome..

Looking for a local dentist for dental braces

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009
Q.
Dear Dr Caplan, I was fitted with the “train track” braces when younger on my top teeth, the results were great, but now at 35, i have gaps in my teeth and also never got my lower crooked teeth (too many in bottom row) fixed. I do not want the same type of braces, but can you recommend any good Orthodontists in the HA9 area of London. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thumb sucking as a kid has caused problem to my front teeth

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009
Q.
When i was a child i sucked my thumb and now my front teeth are goofy and my bottom front are leaning back, i had a retainer to stop the thumb sucking 9 years ago and was told i did not need a brace as they would go back naturally. in my opinion they are now worse, i do not want braces now as i have self-esteem issues, what other options do i have?
