I’m 18 and have really bad teeth, they make me self conscious and insecure about my appearance. My front left tooth is a crown as I had an accident which broke my natural tooth. The tooth to the left of that is in bad shape, and possibly needs removing and a new one putting there. My teeth are also discoloured and this is a major issue for me these past couple of years. I haven’t tried any whitening products that you can buy etc because my crown matches the colour of the rest of my teeth so if I had them whitened then the crown right at the front would stand out. I just want to smile with confidence, and would like some advice on what I should do? Would it be possible to sort my teeth out in one day? because I don’t want to be walking around with even more dodgy looking teeth as I go to university and I would be really embarrassed. Hope you can offer my some advice. I am very self conscious about my smile. I am also very nervous!

Friday, December 16th, 2011 Hi there, I am really interested about getting veneers on my top teeth, having had braces and asthma when I was younger they are discolored and have moved in shape.
I live in Milton Keynes but my question to you, is how do you know the best place to go to get them? I don’t want a fake looking smile, which makes me really scared but I look at images on the internet and a few of my friends and most look amazing. Could you recommend anyone to me? and what price should I be looking at paying.

Tuesday, October 4th, 2011Hello, I am a 21 year old student. I have had discoloured teeth for as long as I can remember. Because of this as a child I neglected my teeth and they just got worse. As I got older I started looking after them more and but I am still ashamed of how bad they are. To help me with confidence issues I need something done to improve my smile. I am thinking about getting veneers, or whitened but not sure whether whitening would do the trick as I let them get so bad. I don’t know where to start. How do I go about assessing my options?

Wednesday, August 31st, 2011 In 2007 I had my four front teeth knocked out, I have had root canal treatment on two of the on the right hand side of my mouth. Recently I have had to undergo root treatment on my other two teeth on the left hand side of my mouth, however it has been filled previously in root canal treatment. The dentist is having problems to unfill it all and if she carrys on with the root treatment it is possible that it will be unsuccessful. From all of these problems my front teeth have become highly discoloured and its embarrasing. I would like your help in telling my best possible action to make, although if I were to get dental implants it amounts to £2200 per tooth and that is far too expensive for myself to be able to afford. Also I am having to have gum treatment as i have decay in my gums.
I hope that you can help me as I am only 20 years old and I would like to have nice healthy white teeth.
Would you recommed one porcelain veneer to cover my discoloured front tooth?
Tuesday, April 12th, 2011Hi I am reasonably happy with my smile other than my front tooth which is a little darker in colour due to banging it when I was younger. I was looking at Lumineers but I understand you do not think the end result it very good. I was wondering therefore would it be possible to have one porceline veneer to the front or would it be best to have two front poreceline. Thank you.

Tuesday, April 5th, 2011HI, I used to have partial denture to my upper jaw but uncomfortable.One of the teeth it replaced was at the front and rest at sides. After a few accidents it broke (easily cos of the 1 tooth at front problem). I only have 8 teeth left (upper) which includes 2 wisdom. These teeth need work on ie; small fillings. I’m contemplating having them all removed for a full top set denture mainly cos i’m 57 and would be better off doing so. Do you think I should do so?? If I decide to go ahead I would like the new teeth to be whiter shade but would then need the bottom teeth to be whitened to match or at least nearly, would this be possible as I want brighter whiter teeth. Also i am 18 and i still have a baby tooth at side of my big tooth which is very noticeable. They very discolored as well. I am very self conscious and hate smiling! My teeth cross over at the front, and i am looking to get the straigtend, i had a brace three years ago but my teeth have moved back to how they was.
Also my teeth are slightly discoloured due to illness.
I went to see a dentist today and he priced my teeth at £5000 to have veneer’s.
Do all veneers cost this much?
