Hello Doctor, I have a bit of a weird one for you. Basically when I was very young, I didn’t clean my teeth properly and this led to decay in my mouth. I had a few teeth taken out as a child when suffering from severe toothache. Into my teenage years I began cleaning properly and everything, still had to have a few fillings and I think we were on the way to making my teeth strong enough for braces. The top row is quite crooked and one of my front teeth overlaps another. Recently I have had no toothache but am worried about the state of my mouth and want to get it fixed. What problems might I have in later life if there is still some sort of remaining decay that I don’t know about? Are there any serious health risks? I look forward to reading your response. Cheers.

I have come across two white lines on my two front teeth which have suddenly appeared.
This happened a while ago and after a couple of hours they faded but this time they are fading at all. They aren’t getting any worse but I’m also worried that they are not fading away either.
I always practice good oral hygiene (I have no fillings, brush teeth at least twice a day, floss, mouthwash etc.)
I have read about micro abrasion and think this might be an option for me.
How much roughly would micro abrasion be on my two front teeth? Thanks.
I’m Considering Veneers – Will They Look Natural?
Wednesday, August 7th, 2013Is it possible to have veneered two front teeth only? Also, I imagine it would be a challenge to match them to blend in with the rest my teeth? The front right tooth is half-filled and at the top where tooth meets the gum the enamel is quite damaged, it’s almost scraped and it’s become like a brown dent, gradually extending. Obviously I would think twice if they didn’t quite match up. There’s nothing wrong with my front left tooth though. Any advice would help me greatly? Thank you.

I have very big problem with my teeth mean and I mean I am totally tensed about this. I have just turned 20 and I have had removed my 2 back teeth,one due to an unsuccessful root canal and in 2 teeth, in which I have had cosmetic fillings. If i talk about front tooth it is breaking day by day and total enamel has lost and in my one front tooth. I have cosmetic bonding there also. It is painful when speaking so cover my teeth when I smile also. My fillings are causing great pain I think this is failure? So can you please guide upon the right solution in order to keep my teeth strong and safe teeth through what ever treatment I need, thank you. I am poor at english. Sorry not UK and not much is known about teeth. The problem is getting bad.
Why Won’t My Dentist Remove My Loose Teeth?
Friday, July 19th, 2013Hi Mark. I have very loose 2 front teeth which have been nearly knocked out so I now haven’t got no nerves going through them which makes them look sort of see through. I think they’re dying. I asked my dentist to remove them but she refused (she said they’re fine but I can see and feel how loose they have become) so I am now looking for veneers now if you can help me please as I don’t think I could cope with a palate denture. I feel that veneers are the best solution for me and I think I’ve got all of my other teeth really white just these 2 at the front, which are letting me down now and depressing me so bad. I’m not sure how I can go about getting them fixed and I’m not sure who I should visit about this now as I feel my dentist doesn’t really care that much about helping me, especially when I went about my loose teeth.
