Hi, I’m starting to become self aware of my teeth and the missing teeth i have. I know it’s my fault my teeth are in the way they are but i’m wanting to get something done about them. Now i’m afraid of needles and the drills used, is there any cosmetic dentist that could put me to sleep to get all my teeth out so i could either have implants or dentures fitted.,

Hi Dr Rob Tennet. Some of my teeth are rotten and others are badly stained. i use to go to the dentist regular uptill 12 years ago had bad expirience and not been since. im on a low budget and wondered if you knew of any dentist in the Bedford area that could treat me and not hurt me as the last one did, to give me my confidence back and smile againe im aged 48 and in need of help Thanks,

I have real dental phobia and I need to see a dentist, please help!

Hi im 56 and i suppose the last time i went to a dentist was 40 years ago. i attended Kings College Hospital, London at first as a guinea pig and got paid 5 shillings. I had a lot of work done there including a false front tooth which is on a metal plate, as i have not been to the dentist since then, incidently i was very frightened by all the experience there that i now have a phobia, please help me as that false tooth has now eaten away at the gum above it so my tooth is slowly been hidden as half of it looks like it is broken. I have so many broken teeth some are left but occasionaly give me pain, which i bare it as much as i can take it, this will last 3/4 days. Im registered Disabled as i have has a stroke and two TIA’S. Im so ashamed of my teeth that im afraid to smile bec ause as i do people look straight at my teeth. Please, please help me, as being disabled i dont go out a lot now, but i want to, im losing all my friends because of this and getting very depressed im on Fluoxtine to help me. I do hope you can help me. Thank you for listeneing to me.

Can I upgrade to full dental plates?

Hi, I am 60, retired and extremely dental phobic. Because of this my teeth have deteriorated probably to the point where i need to have dentures. I need to know if i have dentures, will I be able to ‘upgrade’ to implanted full dental plates about 6-9 months later as this cost is too much for me right now but will be affordable at the end on the year. I.E. can the implants be done retrospectively?,

I am petrified of the dentist, ever since 1971 when the dentist took out back tooth without any medication. I am now embarrassed with a front broken nearly black tooth, I have paid nearly £90.00 in cancellation fees, I need to get it done, I get to the doors and panic and turn away, i cry for ages before I get to the office. hi i wonder if you could help my. im 28 and last saw a dentist when i was 16. im scared of dentists and needles one of the reasons that put me off when i had some fillings done when i was 16. my teeth have got quite bad my two front teeth are rotten i have lost the two teeth to the left and one to the right and lost four teeth at the back as well and my wisdom teeth broke off when they came through im now left with horrible black stumps. and need some fillings on some others i would love to smile again but im very embaressed about going to see someone who can help me get my smile and confidence back. how much would this roughtly cost please many thanks,

i am petrified of going to the dentist after an unforgettin experiance and have never been to one since my teeth have become like a horror film and would like to get the sorted but im so scared. Im also worried that the denist will judge me for lettin my teeth gettin into such a state.
