I’ve always had a gummy smile

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008
Q.
I don’t know how to start these. :/ But, I’ve always had a gummy smile, I’ve always been made fun of because of it. I had braces on for five years, and yet, I still have a gap on one side of my two front teeth. I never even smile that much in pictures, because I fear embarrassment. I believe my smile is controllable, but why tolerate that and not get it corrected? I absolutely despise my gummy smile and also my poor enamel, which show white marks at the tip of my two front teeth. I just wish I could afford corrective gum surgery and porcelain veneers. I was wonder what the cost would be after insurance? Or at least an estimated cost. If not that what else should I do? Plus, I feel as if my teeth are already long and the gummy smile correction will make them even longer? or would you shave the teeth down? Thank you so much for taking time and reading my question. I just wish for the impossible.

I had a serious car accident whilst on holiday in turkey and had jaw surgery

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008
Q.
Hello I had a serious car accident whilst on holiday in Turkey. In brief, I had jaw surgery and was wired for more than 4 weeks. The wires have been removed now. Its been like 6 weeks now since i had jaw surgery. I also had broken/chipped teeth because of the accident. My questions are: 1. How long should I wait to get my teeth sorted – to get veneers? 2. Should my travel insurance be responsible for my broken teeth as well? If yes, how do deal with insurance payments? Hope to hear from you soon

can i get dental insurance for a dracula tooth

Thursday, July 31st, 2008
Q.
Hi….I hate my teeth. They are not HORRIBLE but I have one teeth on top that looks like a dracula tooth! And my front 2 main teeth are a LITTLE crooked. I was thinking about getting braces. I am 20. Is that the safest thing to do? I have looked into veeners and bonding – dont know much about them. I dont know how safe veeners and bonding are. So my best bet right now is braces. Or so I think? Also, I dont have dental insurance would you know what type would be the best one to get which covers braces and regular checkups – exrays, fillings, cavity??? ( one that will work in FL and NC, or NC ) ???? p.s. help =-/ Thank You!
