Hi Iv just had a lower molar tooth extracted but it cracked several times and there is still one root left inside. This was probably the most painfull dentist work i hav ever had(iv had loads!) I am due to see him again in 7 days time. If he cant take it out then i will have to take it out at the hospital. What complications are involved in this as i am not at all looking forward to this dreadfull procedure,

I want surgery to fix my bite, how do I go about looking into things?

Friday, May 14th, 2010
Q.
I have mandibular prognathism, which has given be an open bite. I was seen by max-fax about 10 yrs ago and they did not think it warranted surgery. I really do not like it and I feel that aesthetically my appearance would be improved if I had it done. I havent seen anyone else about this since and was wondering how I can go about looking into things again? Thanks,

What is your opinion on flexible dentures?

Monday, April 19th, 2010
Q.
Last December my bridge failed, since then I have had an acrylic denture to replace my upper left 1 and upper right 1,2, & 3. I find the denture uncomfortable and it moves around too much. After a consultation at the Bristol Dental hospital a new upper partial cobalt chrome denture was recommended which would also include upper right 6 &7 which have been missing now for some years. After looking on the internet to find out about this type of denture I also read about flexible dentures which appear to offer many advantages although one website said they did not always fit well and were not adjustable. What is your opinion of the flexible denture and which would you recommend?,

I have bad teeth but I cannot afford the treatment, what do you suggest?

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010
Q.
i am a full time student with 2 kids and very limited cash. I have had a fear of the dentist and a previous drug problem which has made my teeth soooo bad. i cannot smile as there is a tooth missing at the frontish and i have no confidence anymore because of it. what can i do in terms of repairing my smile so i can smile again and talk without covering my mouth with my hand. i would love veneers but cannot afford it. Is there dentist training or something that would want to do the work on my teeth for training?,
