Hi. My 2 front bottom teeth are turning black. I had abcess under them years ago. I have internal bleaching which really didnt change much. My dentist has said they are dead and will just get blacker over time. One of the teeth is slightly tender when touched. What are my options and costs involved. A friend on mine has just had 4 bottom front teeth removed due to ongoing infection and pain and her teeth were very discoloured, and has a false teeth on a brace type thing, but its not fitting and causing probs. I dont want to end up with that. Thanks

Hello, I am considering having a whitening procedure. I have moderate fluorosis staining on my teeth, particularly the top front ones, and also some darker brown patches between these teeth. My dentist has shown me before and after pictures of patients he has treated, and I was surprise at how successful the treatment was for those with similar fluorosis staining. I understand that the fluorosis would sill be there, and that every patient can expect a different level of success. Are there any long term effects of the whitening? I don’t want to improve the appearance of my teeth only to find in years to come that I have compromised my oral health. Does the quote of £275 I have been given by my dentist seem reasonable,and are there any particular brands or systems you recommend? Thankyou for your time,

Cost effective teeth whitening

Hi, I really want my teeth whitened for my wedding in 5 weeks but i can’t afford the dentists prices. I did some research on the internet and read that polar night home tooth whitening products are good (the syringes and mouth trays) what do you think?. I’m just a bit dubious and i am a bit worried that the product will ruin my teeth!!!. It states that this is what the dentists purchase anyway and give to their patients to take home, is this true?. Also if i do purchase the polar night product, how long do you use it for, is it 2 hrs before you go to bed or overnight?. I would really appreciate it if you could answer my question as soon as you can as i want to sort my teeth for my wedding!!!. Thanks, 🙂
