Hello Dr Gambroudes. I visited my dentist recently and had a permanent filling in my left sided tooth and they used cotton wool and some kind of gel to fill this permanently. I wanted to ask whether cotton wool is safe and hygienic for permanently filling the cavity tooth. I’ve been charged different amounts for each filling I’ve had and would like to know if this is fair. Please help me as I don’t know if I’m being ripped off. What would you suggest? Hi, Dr Hughes. I have severely crooked teeth due to overcrowding, a couple are slightly twisted with one tooth pushed behind the rest, I had a consultation with a cosmetic dentist a while ago but was put off by the prices! This is causing me to suffer from a very low self esteem because I feel uncomfortable when I smile and would love to have this problem fixed. Would it be possible for me to have the six month smile treatment? I also have limited means, so I would only be able to pay monthly. How much would this cost (monthly) approximately.

I have a diastema between my two upper front teeth. The gap is about half the width of one tooth. I’m reluctant to have braces and would like to know what cosmetic solutions could be used. Apart from the diastema my teeth are healthy so i dont really want lots of drilling for traditional veneers. Could Lumineers be the answer? Approx how much would this cost to get done in the UK. Thanks.
what kind of cost would be involved in having a partial denture made privately for shrunken gums and would this be likely to help pad out the top lip?
