How much would it cost to repair my broken tooth, my discoloured crown and for hygiene advice?

Tuesday, January 11th, 2011
Q.

Hi. I have a broken front upper tooth (chipped on both edges) also two crowns which are discoloured. I could probably do with a general clean. Would you be able to give me some kind of guide line to how much I might be looking to pay.
Regards.

Where can I get my broken tooth removed?

Friday, January 7th, 2011
Q.

I have lost the gold crowns on two of my molars, this has been a while ago, now the stumps are broken and jagged they hurt and cut my tounge and inside my cheeks. I have no insureance and very little money. Will it they have to be surgicaly removed since they are so badly broken, parts are broken off at the gum. Where can I go to have them removed. I’m very concerned about the cost.

What can be done about a veneer that is slightly discoloured and misshapen?

Friday, December 17th, 2010
Q.

Hi Dr,

I broke my front tooth last year and had a veneer fitted. I feel a bit disappointed in it’s appearance as it seems slightly off colour and the tooth seems wider than it should be, it also seems to not be shaped as the one next to it. My teeth were absolutely perfect before and I’m so upset that I broke it and now I feel that I will never look the same or do not want my photo being taken as I now hate my smile. Everyone says it looks ok, but it just doesn’t look right to me. What do you think I should do? Can my veneer be reshaped? This is causing me a lot of upset. Thank you for your time.

When my tooth was removed the roots had been left behind, how will this impact on me in the future?

Saturday, December 4th, 2010
Q.

I had a tooth removed but it broke while in the removal process. The roots have been left behind as the dentist could not get them out. Parts of the tooth are still sitting in my gum. How is this going to impact on me in the future. Risks? Possible bad repercussions?
