How much to have my teeth straightened?
Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011Are there any quick solutions for overcrowded teeth?
Wednesday, February 16th, 2011In a few months time I’ll turn 18 and feel that my teeth are too overcrowded for conventional braces to align them in a short amount of time (which is why I deeply regret not getting them a few years ago). My smile is the main cause of my lack of confidence in social situations and I feel too embarassed to visit my dentist in regards to fixing it. My top set of teeth are a lot worse than my bottom set as one tooth is a lot further back than the others, causing an overlap. I’ve researched into veneers available on the NHS and feel this could be a suitable option as I want the treatment to be over as soon as possible. I’ve also become more aware of slightly wobbly teeth but am not sure whether this is just a subconscious thought. As it is only the front 6 on the top set and front 4 on the bottom set of my teeth that aren’t aligned, I’ve also looked into the 6 month smile braces but it all seems to good to be true. What do you think is the best option for me?
Should I get a fixed or permanent retainer?
Thursday, January 27th, 2011Hi, I am into my 7th month of 6 month smiles treatment. My dentist is telling me that he is going to fit a permanent bonded retainer behind my teeth after treatment. I haven’t been given a choice of wearing a removable retainer. My main concern is that I will no longer be able to floss. Should I be able to opt for a removable, or is it better to have a permanent bonded retainer fitted?

Will invisalign push my teeth forward to straighten them?
Tuesday, January 4th, 2011My teeth are ok and have no gaps although they are slightly pushed backwards. Not highly noticeable although i would be much happier with a straighter set of teeth. I was just wondering if a Invisalign would push them forward for a more straighter fuller smile?
Can I have the six-month smile treatment?
Tuesday, January 4th, 2011hi, I’m 28 and considering having braces. I had them before when I was young but unfortunately didn’t wear the retainer for long enough and my teeth have gone crooked again.
I live in Tewkesbury so ideally I will look lookly but I’m interested in the 6 month smile treatment. If possible could I have more information.
Can they be used in most cases? I appreciate this is hard to answer without seeing my teeth. The front 2 stick out and the next 2 are slightly behind. As I have braces before I know the process so know I would probably need a brace before and definitely a retainer for quite a while after.
Thank you very much for your time.
Regards
Alex
Can you advise me on the Six Month Smile treatment?
Saturday, December 4th, 2010 Hi there
I would just like to hear your views on the six month smile treatment, i am considering getting my teeth straightened. I have over crowded teeth, the orthodontist said he would take a slither (small piece of enamel) from my teeth at the front to make a little more room. I am worried this mite damage my teeth and make them ache permanetly. This treatment seems to good to be true.
I would appreciate your comments
What teeth straightening procedures take the least amount of time and do dentists offer student discount?
Thursday, December 2nd, 2010 Hi. I am 22 and I have a 2mm gap between my front two teeth. I am looking into ways I can get this treated – veneers and 6 month smile. I leave to go traveling in about 6 months, would that be an issue for the 6 month smile option? The rest of my teeth seem fine.
Also, since I am at university is there any sort of discount on dental? Or would I have to pay for it all?
Thanks
