Should I have my removable bridge replaced with individual crowns?

Q.
Hello there! I hope you are well! Okay here is the problem: I currently have a removable acrylic bridge of three teeth in my right side upper jaw, between my front and my rear teeth. It is not that comfortable and I was considering having individual crowns because I feel it will only get worse – (not sure if the crowns are called bolt in or screw in.) Could you indicate how long the surgery would take and how much I would be expected to pay for the treatment? (I wish to start saving for it as soon as possible!) Should I wait or have it done now? Would my current (NHS) dentist be likely to give a discount, as I am now 65? Any advice would be great, Thank you for your time.
A.
Hi, thanks for your question. As a guide an implant supported 3 tooth bridge will cost around £4000-5000. I doubt you will get a discount for complex treatment such as this but it won’t hurt to ask. I hope this helps.
