Recently done teeth crown causing chewing and biting problem.

Q. I recently had a bridge done for a missing tooth. One of the crowned teeth on the end has not felt right since day one. I cannot bite or chew near the bridge, even soft foods. I am afraid to go back to the dentist because I think he was very unprofessional and could he have taken the tooth down too far?

A. It does sound like it needs looking at and he is the best person to check it as he will know what has been left under neath. It sounds like you may need the root treating to stop the bridge feeling tender.
