Other Than A Bridge, What Are The Best Treatment Options For A Missing Tooth?
Q.
Hello Dr Moore, I hope you can help me out. I have one upper canine missing, I would like to know how much would it cost me to fill the gap?
I don’t like the bridge options available because I don’t want the dentist to file the tooth down next to it. Could you please tell me about any other options available and the prices/costs available? It really bugs me as it’s really noticeable whenever I try to smile. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Hello and thank you for writing in. It’s difficult to say without seeing you in person but the usual options for missing teeth would be a dental implant and the cost would be approximately £2000. A partial denture would be a cheaper option. You should discuss your options with an experienced implantologist. If you’d like more information on dental implants and how the procedure works, you can find it through the implant page on this website. I hope this helps. Best wishes, Dr Andrew Moore.
