One of my teeth is slightly pushed behind one of the front teeth advice?

Q. As a child I had braces as I had overcrowded teeth. My wisdom teeth have begun to come through and have pushed one of my teeth slightly behind one of the front teeth. It really it ruining my smile. I dont want to go through braces again. Would I be able to get a single vaneer on this one problem tooth and have the others whitened? Thanks for you help?

A. Yes, this is a possible option- veneers can create symmetry in this way. A good cosmetic dentist will be able to match the colour and characteristics of your other teeth to make it look more natural. If you are considering whitening, then I would advise you to have the whitening first- as the veneer will not lighten once it is made.
