Necessary to change Invisalign aligners every two weeks, and what exactly are the aligners?

Q. hello, i have read that u need to change our aligners every 2 weeks.. are the aligners the dots at the end of the invisalign or the invisalign itself?,
A. Hi, Yes that is fine to change your aligners every 2 weeks. Your aligners are the clear plastic matt trays taylored to fit your teeth to straighten then.

You may need to wear the previous one a bit longer also check the number on the new aligner is the one in he sequence. If you are not sure go and see your dentist.

How quickly is it possible to have a next in the series aligner replaced? I have managed to damage the number 4 retainer and don’t know what to do! I am currently on my 2 aligner, should I just continue with number 3 for 4 weeks or do I have a chance of having a new aligner sent out if I go to my dentist? I just don’t know what to do, so I really hope you can help thanks K
