My Two Front Teeth Stand Out More Than My Others. They Sometimes Cause Me Pain. What Can I Do?

Q.
Hi there, Dr Gambroudes. My upper front two teeth stick out a lot more than my other ones and they are significantly bigger whilst also being bent. I’m 20 years old now so I doubt there’s much chance they’ll fix themselves now. I think they’ve been like this for quite a while now but its only begun annoying me in the past year as I’ve become really self conscious. I also suffer from pain in these two teeth on and off. If I wanted to go about fixing this what are my options? I really suffer from a lack of self confidence as I’ve become more and more aware about these problems. Thanks.

Hello and thank you for getting in touch. It’s difficult to say without seeing you in person to assess you properly. Based on your statement however, it might be useful for you to look into the various discreet brace options available. You can find information on this through this website. You should book a consultation to discover what’s behind the pain you sometimes receive. Is it sensitivity? Veneers may also work for you depending on the severity of your dental condition. I hope this helps. Best wishes, Dr Gambroudes.
