After the age of 18 braces are not available on the NHS. You could look at Invisalign as an option. To help avoid relapse again you should have fixed bonded retainers next time and I prefer to combine this with Essix removable retainers that you wear every night

Hi, I had braces as a child and within a few months of them being taken off my teeth went back to how they were to start with. Retainers didn’t exist then (1980 ish). Now one of my bottom teeth which has been pushed forward so far the teeth behind have closed together and now touch. The tooth which sticks out is now being worn by the contact with the upper teeth. Is there any hope of having corrective work done on the NHS ?
I had a brace 3 years ago, but didnt wear my retainer afterwards. My teeth are quite strainght, however, would it damage them if i were to undergo another straightnening treatment now?
