My teeth have moved and now I am unentitled to free ortho, how much will it cost?

Q.
Hello, I was wondering if it was possible you could help me out by giving me some advice and giving me an idea on what I’m entitled to. I’m 18 years old but in full time education and I had my braces taken off a year or so ago and was given a retainer, within in the 6 months of having the retainer on my current dentist told me to chuck them out as I no longer needed them? Now two of my bottom teeth have overlapped and one of my top teeth has shifted back a little. I’m aware that now I’m 18 I may have to pay towards it, but hopefully not £2000+ as not much work is needed to be done. I was wondering if you could tell me how much it is going to cost me? And if I am entitled to any discounts of any sort due to still being in education.

Many thanks,

A.
Hello its difficult to tell if you could have any remedial treatment on the NHS. You might be able to correct the overlap without a new fixed brace. perhaps you could ask your orthodontist to see if there is anything simple they could do.
