My Teeth Are Pointy. Is There Any Way I Can Get Them Reshaped Using Crowns?

Q.
Hello there Dr Moore. I hope you can help me out. I have quite pointy teeth (canines) and I sometimes I hurt myself when I accidentally bite the inside of my cheek. I’ve been researching a few treatments on-line but I’d like more information on treatments which could help me. Do you know if there any way pointy teeth can be crowned or re-shaped? How much would this cost and which treatment would be least invasive? Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing your reply.

Hello and thank you for getting in touch. Yes it’s definitely possible, it can be quite straightforward. You may also want to consider cosmetic bonding or veneers depending on the severity of your case. Do you grind your teeth? Visit an experienced dentist in your area and see what they say. If you’d like detailed information on the various treatments available you can find this through this websites guide. I hope this helps you. Best wishes, Dr Andrew Moore.
