My Teeth Are Moving As I Have Not Worn My Retainer As Instructed, What Can I Do?

Q.
I had braces on my top and bottom teeth and they were then removed after about 1-2 years. I was given clear retainers and I haven’t been following my routine for wearing retainers for my front teeth. For a while my front teeth were fine but now my right front tooth is moving closer to the left front tooth. I have a natural gap between my 2 front teeth and my dentist removed one of my molars so that my front teeth would move as my right front tooth used to go over my left front tooth. I have a small gap where my molar used to be and now a gap is being developed between my central incisor and my lateral incisor.
I have started wearing my retainers again for every night now for the last 2 weeks but my teeth are still moving.
What should I do?
Thank you for reading this and I will wait for your advice.

Hello, thank you for your question. It would be very difficult to answer this without seeing you. However, I feel the only course of action would be to revisit your orthodontist, should be able to put you back on the correct course of treatment.
