My Gums Have Receded And Now My Front Bottom Teeth Are Wobbly. Do You Think I Have Gum Disease?

Q.
Hi Dr Patel. I think I have gum disease. My gums have receded and now my front bottom 2 teeth have become wobbly. One is more lose than the other. Will my teeth fall out? Or can anything be done as I’m only 18 and I’m really worried. I had braces for about 3 years or just under but the dentist never said anything and I’m really scared about losing my teeth. Will my dentist have to take my teeth out? I can’t walk around without teeth. Please help me, this has really bothered me. Thank you for your time.

Hello and thank you for writing in. I would need to see you to give you an exact diagnosis you need to see a dentist and have some X-rays taken to make a fully accurate assessment of your condition. Go to your dentist to get some peace of mind. They may book you an appointment with a periodontist. If you’d like to know more about gum disease, you can search this website for information. I hope this helps you. Regards, Dr Riten Patel.
