My front tooth is cracked to the gumline, how can it be repaired?

i have noticed a crack in my top tooth running from one side to the other at the front of one of my top teeth it is very close to the gum line what do think it is and what would be the best form of repair. Also seem to have developed very sensitive gums or even gum disease what would be the best method for treatment.

The crack in the enamel is more than likely nothing to worry about but i would get your dentist to check it out. Regarding your sore gums you can ask your dentist to refer you to a dental hygienist for advice if you do have gum diseases she may then refer you on to a Periodontist (gum specialist).
