My dentist will not remove my upper tooth that crosses over another. I hate smiling! What can I do?

Q. One of my upper front teeth crosses over the other and I hate smiling!! When I spoke to my dentist he said there is nothing he can do with it and refuses to take it out and replace it with an implant. What could I expect to pay for an implant and a whitening treatment to the rest of my teeth from yourselves (or is this not possible?),
A. I would advise you see a cosmetic dentist for an opinion, you may be able to crown the teeth or consider wearing a brace it would be a shame to remove the tooth.
