Q. I had a slight gum infection that i treated with Oraldene, and it cleared up ok, but after a few weeks I had what i thought was just a loose filling, my dentist refilled it but now i am getting random shooting pains,that feel like an icicle being rammed into the same tooth/jaw,the dentist said at the time it may need root canal treatment but he didnt do any xrays. do you think this is correct in having Root canal Treatment?
